When I was about 10 years old, I wrote and self-published my first book.  It was a bit ragged and rough but nevertheless it was a collection of writings, carefully crafted poems, that I shared with my family and it was MY book.  This love of reading, writing and creating flourished throughout my youth, through college and into careers in broadcast news, public relations, political campaigns and motherhood.

In the past two decades, my literary journey has been colored with a spectrum of life experiences. As a reporter, I covered a plethora of local, national and international news stories including politics, government, crime, health, sports and human interest. I've blended a vibrant background in journalism with award-winning public relations skills and pragmatic parenting complemented with a creative flair for photography to share compelling stories with others.

This kaleidoscope of endeavors makes up the solid foundation of my adventure into employment as a writer and photographer.
