Introducing The Regatta View: My Consulting Agency ♡
Updated: Apr 10

I didn't set out to create a marketing agency. Really, over the past 10 years of my life I have had quite the opposite of a convential career path. Most of the time my parents would be like "we still don't know what you do." While I started my "career" as a fashion stylist, I quickly fell into the wild wild west that is the cannabis industry. I've worked in multiple facets in that space, everything from getting my hands dirty in the grow, writing for companies, to throwing private 5-course cannabis dinner parties 3 nights a week in DTLA. My pivot into cannabis was inspired by my father, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease when I was 15. I was inspired by the healing capabilities of this plant. Having a background in fashion and cosmetology (I have lived many lives), I wanted to make own plant derived body-care products but in an aesthetically pleasing way. I had no financial backing, guidance, or resources. I just knew I wanted to make products and create a brand. I made a lot of mistakes and fuck ups along the way. I lost $10,000 my first year starting my company (2019) to a deal gone wrong with a lab with really bad business ethics out in Los Angeles . (Their founder was actually removed from the company because he was so foul.) To me, that was a lot of money that I made myself. I did not grow up rich. I remember thinking "I can't wait for the day I am able to help those who want to start their own brand or launch a product and provide them with an experience polar opposite of mine." Fast forward to 2023, please welcome The Regatta View.
The Regatta View is a marketing agency that concentrates on helping those with a vision who don’t know where to start. We provide a platform to empower our clients to turn their ideas into tangible results. Whether consulting or providing custom products or tailored services, our mission is to help others bring their visions to life.
I have now launched 3 lab-formulated and tested products. I have 3 laboratories throughout the United States. I work with multiple vendors throughout the country. (All of them good and solid mutually beneficial relationships.) I started gaining social media clients and marketing projects first, then my best friend said to me "You should start your own agency"And voila, it was born. I came up with the name The Regatta View prior to any of this, wanting to name it after the clothing I thrifted, but I never did anything with it. I thought it was perfect for my agency, as I still wanted to be able to create and make clothing/products myself, but I also wanted to be able to provide and share my resources for those wanting to bring a vision to life as well. I welcome brands of any size, but I will say it excites me when I have someone come to me and say "I have $300 dollars, I want to launch merch. How can I do it?" I have always rooted for the underdog and I truly believe in empowering others. There is room for everyone.
I still have so much to learn. I'm about to turn 30. And to be honest, I feel like I'm just getting started.
